Hulu reveals premiere date for psychological thriller series The Clearing

The Clearing is coming to Hulu soon. The streaming service has announced a premiere date and released a teaser for the new thriller. Filmed in Victoria, The Clearing is an emotional and psychological thriller that follows the nightmares of a cult and a woman forced to face the demons of her past to stop the kidnapping and coercion of innocent children in the future.

The series digs under the skin and into the mind, blurring the lines between past and present, reality and nightmare in a truly terrifying way.



Teresa Palmer (A Discovery of Witches), Miranda Otto (Chilling Adventures of Sabrina) and Guy Pearce (Mare of Easttown) lead an outstanding cast of Australian talent, including Hazem Shammas (The Twelve), Mark Coles-Smith (Picnic at Hanging Rock ), Kate Mulvany (Hunters (2020)) and rising star Julia Savage (Class of '07).

The Clearing is directed by Jeffrey Walker (Young Rock) and Gracie Otto (The Other Guy). The series was created and written by Elise McCredie (Stateless) and Matt Cameron (Jack Irish), with co-writer Osamah Sami.
