The Copenhagen Test canceled by Peacock after one season

The espionage thriller series The Copenhagen Test will not receive a second season: streaming service Peacock has decided to cancel the series after just one season.
The Copenhagen Test featured lead roles for Simu Liu and Melissa Barrera and revolved around Alexander Hale, a Chinese-American intelligence analyst who discovers that his brain has been hacked. As a result, unknown individuals can see and hear everything he experiences.

This situation places Hale in a dangerous position, where he must constantly pretend to function normally while trying to uncover who is behind the hack and where his own loyalties lie. Barrera plays the mysterious character Michelle, who is difficult to fathom and adds extra tension.

Other key roles are played by Sinclair Daniel as an inexperienced agent who gets dragged into the situation, Brian d'Arcy James as a ruthless supervisor, Mark O'Brien as an ambitious agent, and Kathleen Chalfant as a strategic leader.

The series was created by Thomas Brandon and produced with James Wan among others as an executive producer. Despite this strong creative team and the intriguing premise, the series has not been renewed, leaving the story to conclude after one season.
