The lead cast for the upcoming Amazon series The Devils Hour has been revealed. Next to that, various other cast members have been added as well.
The Devils Hour revolves around Lucy Chambers, a woman who always wakes up at 3.33 AM. This is right in the middle of the so-called devil's hour, which is between 03:00 and 04:00 AM. Her name is inexplicably linked to a series of brutal murders in her village, to which she finally is given the answers she's been waiting for.
Jessica Raine (Baptiste) and Peter Capaldi (Doctor Who) will portray the lead characters in The Devils Hour. Raine will portray Lucy Chamber. Capaldi will portray the most important target of the local police department. Agent Ravi Dhillon is trying to find him. Dhillon is portrayed by Nikesh Patel (Starstruck).
Next to Raine, Capaldi and Patel, the cast will further consist of Meera Syal (The Split), Alex Ferns (Chernobyl), Phil Dunster (Ted Lasso), Barbara Marten (Sanctuary), Thomas Domonique (Blood Drive), Rhiannon Harper-Rafferty (The Donmar Warehouse's All-Female Shakespeare Trilogy), John Alastair (The Wrong Mans), Sandra Huggett (Coronation Street) and newcomer Benjamin Chivers.
