The DuPont Show of the Week

The DuPont Show of the Week is an American musical comedy series which aired on NBC. The series premiered on September 17, 1961.

Welcome to The DuPont Show of the Week. This anthology series presents a panorama of programs, such as musical variety, dramatic shows, documentaries, and special projects. For three seasons it was NBC's late Sunday evening "class" showcase, with the best available talent talent, both in front of and behind the cameras. One of the aims of the series was to show the latitude and potential of the television medium as a means of communication.
