The series, developed by Tina Fey, Lang Fisher, and Tracey Wigfield, is based on the 1981 film of the same name by and starring Alan Alda.
The first season of The Four Seasons consisted of eight episodes and combined comedy and drama around three long-standing couples who come together each season of the year for a holiday or weekend trip — each told over two episodes.
In season two, a new story will be told, but the format remains the same: the friend group returns for four seasonal gatherings. Pasquale's role is said to extend beyond just the summer episodes.
The main cast returns, with Tina Fey as Kate, Will Forte as Jack, Colman Domingo as Danny, Marco Calvani as Claude, Erika Henningsen as Ginny, and Kerri Kenney-Silver as Anne.
Pasquale's television work includes roles in Rescue Me and The Good Wife, as well as American Crime Story: The People v. O.J. Simpson (FX), Bloodline (Netflix), and The Comey Rule (Showtime).
