CBS has announced that the fourth season of the drama series The Good Fight will premiere on Thursday 9 April. New episodes from the ten episode season will be available weekly on Thursday at CBS All Access.
The Good Fight takes place a year after the events in the series finale of The Good Wife. Christine Baranski has returned as Diane Lockhart and she works with fan favorite Cush Jumbo as Lucca Quinn.
In season four of The Good Fight, the protagonists navigate through a completely different landscape. After losing their biggest client, Chumhum, they are forced to accept an offer from the huge multinational law firm STR Laurie and become a small subsidiary.
Delroy Lindo
Actor Delroy Lindo, who has played a regular role in the CBS All Access series since the beginning, will leave The Good Fight after the coming fourth season. His contract expires after season four, and he chose not to renew.
Lindo portrays Adrian Boseman, a partner in the law firm. The creators have said the following: "We will miss Delroy dreadfully. He was both a figurehead for the show, but also a figurehead for the fictional firm. He combined comedy and Shakespearean drama in a perfect balance," said the Kings. "We know he wanted to try different things, and although we’ll miss him, we hope we can get him back occasionally as a guest star. So SPOILER ALERT: we won’t be killing Adrian Boseman."
