Ever Carradine promoted to regular cast member for final season of The Handmaid's Tale

Ever Carradine has been promoted to series regular in the upcoming sixth and final season of Hulu's The Handmaid's Tale.
Carradine started on The Handmaid's Tale in the first season, where she had a recurring role as Naomi Putnam. At the same time, she had a regular role on another Hulu series, Marvel's Runaways.

Over the past five years, Carradine (photo) has appeared in twenty episodes of the dystopian drama as Naomi, who was married to Commander Putnam (Stephen Kunken). She is the adoptive mother of a daughter who gave birth to their Handmaid, Janine (Madeline Brewer). Naomi was widowed in season five and married Commander Lawrence (Bradley Whitford), who took his name.

Season six of The Handmaid's Tale will reportedly begin production this summer for a 2025 debut.

Carradine recently guest-starred on the CBS comedy series The Neighborhood. She had recurring roles on Prime Video's Goliath, TNT's Major Crimes, Showtime's Shameless (US) and Fox's 24.
