The Handmaid's Tale has start date and teaser for the sixth and final season

Hulu has set the premiere date for the sixth and final season of The Handmaid's Tale. In the final season, June's (Elisabeth Moss) indomitable spirit and determination pull her back into the fight to take down Gilead. Luke and Moira join the resistance. Serena tries to reform Gilead while Commander Lawrence and Aunt Lydia wonder what they've done and Nick faces challenging tests of character. This final chapter of June's journey highlights the importance of hope, courage, solidarity and resilience in the pursuit of justice and freedom.



Season six stars Elisabeth Moss, Yvonne Strahovski, Bradley Whitford, Max Minghella, Ann Dowd, O.T. Fagbenle, Samira Wiley, Madeline Brewer, Amanda Brugel, Sam Jaeger, Ever Carradine and Josh Charles star.

The Handmaid's Tale season six drops on Hulu on Tuesday, April 8 with three episodes. New episodes will follow weekly on Tuesdays until the finale on May 27.

In the Netherlands, The Handmaid's Tale can be seen on Videoland. It is not yet known when the final season will be available to watch there.
