Netflix has released a teaser trailer of The Haunting of Bly Manor, the second season of The Haunting. In 2018, the first season released, which was called The Haunting of Hill House. It featured the Dutch Michiel Huisman (Game of Thrones) as one of the lead characters. The second chapter of The Haunting will release on the streaming service on the 9th of October.
The Haunting of Bly Manor takes place in England in 1980. After the tragic death of an au pair, Henry Wingrave (Henry Thomas, Sons of Liberty) employs a young American nanny (Victoria Pedretti, You) to take care of his orphan niece and nephew in Bly Manor.
In 2019, it was revealed that The Haunting of Hill House would continue as an anthology series called The Haunting. This means that each new season will have an entirely different story. In The Haunting of Bly Manor, numerous actors from The Haunting of Hill House make their return, such as Victoria Pedretti and Henry Thomas.
