Created by Bailey, The Hunting Party is about a small team of investigators who are brought together to track down and capture the most dangerous killers the country has ever seen, all of whom have just escaped from a top-secret prison that shouldn't exist.
Bailey (pictured left) and Coburn (pictured right) write, produce and serve as co-showrunners. Bailey, who wrote the pilot, has an overall contract with UTV. Jake Coburn has a first-look deal with the studio.
The Hunting Party was one of two drama projects that NBC commissioned a writers' room for last February. The other, Grosse Pointe Garden Society by Jenna Bans and Bill Krebs, just received a pilot order.
Other NBC pilots for 2024 include Suits: L.A. and a Reba McEntire comedy.
No further details are known yet about The Hunting Party.
