Teaser for Netflix' The Irregulars

Netflix has shared a teaser for their new Sherlock Holmes spin-off series, The Irregulars.The Irregulars is based on the Baker Street Irregulars, a group of street thugs who help Sherlock and Watson solve mysteries. The Baker Street Irregulars are also part of the Sherlock Holmes books and movies. In the famous Sherlock, which was made by the BBC, they were also part of the series, but they were called The Homeless Network.

In this series, there are quite a few changes in comparison to the Sherlock Holmes books, movies and series. For example, The Irregulars will be a lot more spooky than what we're used to. In The Irregulars, Sherlock Holmes is an addict. The Baker Street Irregulars do all the work for him, but Sherlock takes the credit.



Netflix hopes to follow up on the success of the recently released Enola Holmes, which also happened within the Sherlock Holmes universe. The series has been written by Tom Bidwell and the first season has eight episodes. Starting from the 26th of March, The Irregulars will become available on Netflix.
