Back in July 2020, Netflix announced the renewal of The Kominsky Method. This new season is going to release on the 28th of May. It will be the final season of the series. Previous seasons had eight episodes, this new season will have six episodes.
We will be able to enjoy the cast and their characters for six more episodes. Alan Arkin (BoJack Horseman) will not return to portray Norman Newlander. Last year, it was revealed that he had only signed a contract for two seasons. Alongside Michael Douglas (The Streets of San Francisco), he portrayed a lead character.
The Kominsky Method revolves around the formerly renowned actor Sandy Kominsky and his old friend Norman Newlander. Together, they try to navigate the youth and beauty-obsessed culture of Los Angeles in their older years.
