Good story!! A shame about the animation indeed, it would have been nicer in a Band of Brothers style of filming.

Why on earth would you release this series in animation form ?! No added value ... Missed opportunity!

The animation may take some getting used to, I also see a lot of complaints about this on imdb, but it reminded me of the comic books about WW2 that I bought in the past. Probably this way was chosen to tell this story in an affordable way. It seems to me to be a very expensive series for a relatively short series to make as live-action (cast, extras, locations, clothing, vehicles, etc.).

Nicely made series. A bit too short, I mean they have been on the road for 500 days, you could have gotten a little more out of it than just 4 episodes. Animation takes some getting used to in the beginning, but not disturbing otherwise.
