By March 1945, the Rhine River stood as the only remaining obstacle between the Allies and the road to final victory over Nazi Germany. This documentary tells the remarkable story of the ninety Allied divisions of men and machines who crossed the Rhine. In order to make this groundbreaking documentary, aerial reconnaissance photographs taken at the time have been layered over a three dimensional map to create a computer generated ‘model’ of the battle to cross the River Rhine.
