The Madam Blanc Mysteries renewed for a third season

AMC Networks' Acorn TV and Channel 5 come with a third season of The Madame Blanc Mysteries.

As in the second season, the US and UK co-producers are preparing a Christmas special and six episodes. Filming is currently underway and the Christmas special will air in 2023 on Acorn TV and Channel 5, with the rest of the season continuing in 2024.

The Madame Blanc Mysteries

In The Madame Blanc Mysteries, starring Sally Lindsay, renowned and respected antique dealer Jean White (Lindsay) returns with her expertise in the world of antiquities, which proves to be the key to solving a series of murders and mysteries against the backdrop of the beautiful French village of Sainte Victoire.

Series creator Lindsay reprises her role, once again teaming up with Sue Vincent (Mount Pleasant), who returns as Gloria Beaushaw and co-writer of the series. Steve Edge (Starlings), Robin Askwith (Strike), Sue Holderness (Only Fools and Horses), Alex Gaumond (Derry Girls) and Tony Robinson, who first appeared in the season two Christmas special, also reprise their roles.

“I am truly humbled by the love for our show and can’t wait to give you lots more adventures,” said Lindsay, who also starred in Channel 5 drama Cold Call.

The third season will be directed by Dermot Boyd (Holby City) and produced by Jake Rollins, while Mike Benson and Andy Morgan will serve as executive producers for co-producer Clapperboard alongside Lindsay and Caroline Roberts-Cherry for Saffron Cherry.
