She is assisted by her faithful companion Dom Hayes, played by Steve Edge, with whom she is currently experiencing a budding romance.
Other regulars are also returning. Robin Askwith and Sue Holderness as eccentric couple Jeremy and Judith Lloyd James, Sue Vincent as mechanic Gloria Beaushaw, Alex Gaumond as dutiful police chief André Caron, Tony Robinson as Uncle Patrick, Dom’s uncle and former petty thief who now runs a pub, and Paul Chuckle as Trevor, Gloria’s father.
Season four stays true to the beloved formula of mystery, murder, rare antiques and a touch of humour – all set against the picturesque backdrop of the southern French countryside. The script was once again written by Sally Lindsay and Sue Vincent.
