The fact that this is the last season does mean that it's Maisel's last chance to achieve her long-awaited fame. The majority of the cast of The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel will return for season five. Returning actors include Brosnahan, Zegen, Hsu, Kirby, Alex Borstein, Tony Shalhoub, Kevin Pollak, Marin Hinkle, Caroline Aaron, Austin Basis and Gideon Glick. The season also added several new faces, including Michael Cyril Creighton (Only Murders in the Building), Eddie Kaye Thomas (Scorpion), Peter Friedman (Succession), Josh Grisetti (The Knights of Prosperity), Chloë Kerwin (Everything's Trash) and Lucas Kavner (Orange Is the New Black) in recurring roles.
The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel will release the first three episodes on Friday, April 14 on Prime, then air an episode every Friday through May 26.
