The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel is an American dramedy series which aired on Amazon. The series premiered on 29 november 2017.

It’s 1958 Manhattan and Miriam “Midge” Maisel has everything she’s ever wanted - the perfect husband, kids, and Upper West Side apartment. But when her life suddenly takes a turn and Midge must start over, she discovers a previously unknown talent - one that will take her all the way from the comedy clubs of Greenwich Village to a spot on Johnny Carson’s couch.

Great comedy series. What an acting and film work. The image is fantastic. Midge is funny, stylish and her family is wonderfully funny and special. The story is beautifully done, as are the characters. Set in the 50's/60's. Midge wears very nice outfits every episode. Recommended! Especially if you appreciate the acting and film/direction in a series

The first two seasons were delightful, really sparkling television, but towards the end of the third season I gave up. Why? Because it made me fall asleep. Nothing happened anymore and some of the characters (Suzie, Abe, Lennon) started to get on my nerves. What was funny and original in the beginning suddenly became cardboard stuff. Types with wigs. And I really don't like that. It's a shame because the first two seasons of this series are phenomenal, highly recommended for fans of Mad Men, or Agent Carter, for example.
