The Morning Show Gets Season 4 Start Date on Apple TV+

Apple TV+ has given a launch date for The Morning Show season 4, returning with new faces and a world of deepfakes and cover-ups.

Apple TV+’s critically acclaimed series The Morning Show returns this fall for season four, reprising its role as Alex Levy and Bradley Jackson in what promises to be the show’s most politically charged, tech-heavy season yet.

In season four, we make a time jump of almost two years. The takeover between the networks UBA and rival NBN has now been completed. The editors of The Morning Show must hold their own in a landscape in which deepfakes, conspiracy theories and corporate abuse of power put pressure on the news and the truth.

Showrunner Charlotte Stoudt describes the new season as a search for who and what can still be trusted in a "polarized America," with a strong focus on personal responsibility, but with room for lightheartedness.

The Morning Show has expanded its cast for its fourth season. In addition to lead actors and executive producers Jennifer Aniston and Reese Witherspoon, newcomers Marion Cotillard, Jeremy Irons, Aaron Pierre, William Jackson Harper and Boyd Holbrook have joined the cast.

Returning cast includes Billy Crudup, Mark Duplass, Nestor Carbonell, Karen Pittman, Greta Lee, Nicole Beharie—and fan favorite Jon Hamm.

Alex (Aniston) has risen through the ranks of the merged network after cleverly taking out tech billionaire Paul Marks (Hamm). She now has a seat at the table with the powers that be, but with all the responsibility that comes with it.

Bradley (Witherspoon) is dealing with the consequences of her actions: she was fired after covering up evidence about her brother and the January 6, 2021, attack on the Capitol. She finds herself at a crossroads of moral choices, legal consequences, and personal growth.

The premiere of The Morning Show season four airs on Wednesday, September 17, with new episodes airing every Wednesday through November 19. Check out more photos of The Morning Show season four cast below.
