The Morning Show renewed for a fifth season

Apple TV+ announced yesterday that The Morning Show will receive a fifth season, even before the start of the fourth season, which begins today.
Season four takes place in the spring of 2024, nearly two years after the events of season three. With the merger between UBA and NBN completed, the newsroom must deal with new responsibilities, hidden motives, and the elusive nature of truth in a highly polarized America.

Jennifer Aniston (as Alex Levy) and Reese Witherspoon (as Bradley Jackson) return in season four. Alex now holds a new position, while Bradley, despite being fired, is back at work and dealing with the consequences of helping her brother hide his role during January 6.

Billy Crudup, Mark Duplass, Nestor Carbonell, Karen Pittman, Greta Lee, Nicole Beharie, and Jon Hamm also return.

Season four welcomes new cast members: Aaron Pierre, William Jackson Harper, Boyd Holbrook (as a Joe Rogan-like podcaster), Marion Cotillard, and Jeremy Irons, who plays Aniston's father. As always, the series revolves around scoops, new romances, and complex family dynamics.

According to Matt Cherniss, head of programming at Apple TV+, The Morning Show "has been a standout from the start" and knows how to entertain while also resonating worldwide.

Michael Ellenberg, one of the executive producers of The Morning Show, added that this season gives the cast and crew "even more room to shine" and expressed gratitude to both Apple TV+ and the fans.
