The Murders to release on FOX in May

The Canadian series The Murders will air weekly on FOX in May.

Jessica Lucas (Gotham) will portray the lead character in the police drama, which aired on the Canadian network City. The first season consists of eight episodes. Next to Lucas, the cast includes Terry Chen and Luvia Petersen, who both starred in Continuum. Nothing has been revealed about a possible second season. In The Murders, which will premiere on FOX on the 20th of May, we follow Kate Jameson, a young and ambitious detective who wants to start a career at the homicide department. A wrong call where she leaves her weapon behind unattended leads to the death of her partner. Consumed by guilt, she wants to prove that she is capable enough to do her job.
