Next to the premiere of the third season, The CW has ordered thirteen more episodes of The Outpost. No further details have been revealed about the new episodes. It remains the question if these will be part of the fourth of the third season. A fourth season makes sense, considering the previous seasons had ten and thirteen episodes. The CW hasn't confirmed anything as of yet, apart from there being new episodes.
Production on The Outpost was halted last March, but the producers were able to continue in June. Because of that, they managed to finish the season in time. The Outpost revolves around Talon (Jessica Green, Lightning Point), the sole survivor of the Blackbloods. She hunts the killers of her family. During her journey, she discovers her supernatural powers, which she has to learn to use to achieve her goals.
