SkyShowtime announces premiere date for comedy series The Paper

The Paper is structured as a mockumentary and is created by the same fictional documentary crew from The Office. This time, the documentary crew from The Office turns their cameras on a historic local newspaper in the Midwest and its quirky publisher who is determined to breathe new life into the paper.



The main roles are played by Domhnall Gleeson, Sabrina Impacciatore, and Chelsea Frei.

Additionally, Melvin Gregg, Gbemisola Ikumelo, Alex Edelman, Ramona Young, Tim Key, and Oscar Nunez (The Office) are also part of the cast.

Guest roles include appearances by Eric Rahill, Tracy Letts, Molly Ephraim, and Mo Welch.

The series is created and written by Greg Daniels (The Office) under his label Deedle-Dee, along with Michael Koman (Nathan for You). Ricky Gervais, Stephen Merchant, Howard Klein, Ben Silverman, and Banijay Americas are co-producers.

The Paper is produced by Universal Television and distributed worldwide by NBCUniversal Global TV Distribution.

There is also good news for fans: all nine seasons of The Office are available on SkyShowtime.
