The series depicts an alternative American history that is told through the eyes of a Jewish working-class family in New Jersey. They see the political rise of Charles Lindbergh, an aviator hero and xenophobic populist, who becomes president and pushes the nation toward fascism.
The HBO series The Plot Against America was made by David Simon, known for The Wire, Treme and The Deuce. It is a six-part TV adaptation of the book by Philip Roth. There are roles for Winona Ryder (Stranger Things), Zoe Kazan (The Deuce), Morgan Spector (Homeland) and John Turturro (The Night Of), among others.
The series will premiere on HBO on the 16th of March. A trailer has already been released.
