The Rain has already been viewed by approximately 30 million people, and can thus be considered one of the best-watched non-English series. Shortly after the release of season two, the series was already renewed with its third and final season. Since the premiere back in 2018, The Rain has been loved amongst younger viewers, all over the world. The third and final season will release on Netflix on the 6th of August.
In The Rain, the world has been destroyed due to a biological catastrophe. Nearly the entire Scandinavian population has been eradicated due to a virus. This series follows a young group of survivors. A brother and sister end up joining this group and together they try to find a better world where they can build up a new life.
