Dunlap-created The Second Best Hospital in the Galaxy follows Dr. Sleech (Stephanie Hsu) and Dr. Klak (Keke Palmer), aliens, best friends and intergalactically renowned surgeons as they tackle fear-eating parasites, illegal time loops and deep-space STDs.

Tracee Ellis Ross (Black-ish), Bowen Yang (Awkwafina is Nora from Queens), Abbi Jacobson (Broad City), Jay Ellis (Insecure), Andrew Dismukes (Saturday Night Live), Lennon Parham (Minx), Gary Anthony Williams ( Night Court (2023)) and John Waters (The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel) will star in the first season, premiering on Friday, February 23.
They join previously announced regular voice cast Maya Rudolph, Natasha Lyonne, Palmer, Hsu, Sam Smith and Kieran Culkin, who is joined by his real-life brothers Macaulay, Rory, Christian and Shane Culkin.
In the first season, doctors Sleech and Klak take on a very dangerous and potentially groundbreaking case, endangering existence itself. Although, given their bleak personal lives, perhaps oblivion is an improvement.
Dunlap also serves as showrunner, writer and executive producer, along with executive producers Rudolph, Animal Pictures' Behrens and Lyonne, Shauna McGarry, Shannon Prynoski, Chris Prynoski, Antonio Canobbio and Titmouse's Ben Kalina. Artist and animator Robin Eisenberg is co-producer and production designer.
