The Split renewed with third and final season

BBC has announced the third season of The Split. It is also going to be the last one of the drama series. The SPlit is going to end. Before all that happens, the fans will be able to enjoy one more season, but after that, the journey is over. Supposedly, production of the third season of The Split is set to begin later this year. It is not yet known when it is set to release. Abi Morgan (River), who created The Split, said that it's great to be able to write about the Defoe family again and that he has one final time to dive into the complications of their lives and their clients.

The Split revolves around the Defoes, a family of female divorce lawyers. When their father suddenly returns after an absence of thirty years, the family is forced to look at its past. Back in 2018, the series premiered. It is a co-production between SundanceTV and BBC One. Last year, the second season released. It was the third-most best-watched series on the BBC iPlayer.
