Exciting series with a good story that is definitely worth watching. Holliday Grainger who plays a masterful leading role and has actually already proven a lot in other series (including CB. Strike) in which she played.

The Stolen Girl takes you along in an emotional and exciting story. This miniseries addresses a heavy and current theme: the disappearance of a child and the drastic consequences for the immediate environment. The series knows how to combine tension and emotion and offers strong performances, especially from Denise Gough and Holliday Grainger.
However, the story does raise questions about credibility at times, especially considering the choices the characters make, such as simply entrusting a child to a virtual stranger. Also, some twists are just a little too dramatic, which reduces the impact on the realism.
Nevertheless, The Stolen Girl remains interesting enough to continue watching, partly due to the good pace and the current social themes that are addressed, such as public condemnation and social media. A series that is not perfect, but does make you think.
