In the trailer, Belly and Jeremiah (played by Gavin Casalegno) unexpectedly announce their engagement, which causes surprise among those around them. However, it quickly becomes clear that the love story is far from simple. Conrad (Christopher Briney), Belly's first love, returns and realizes that his feelings for her are still very much alive.
Confusion mounts as Belly admits her heart still clings to memories of Conrad, even though life with Jeremiah seems simpler. Taylor Swift’s music plays in the background, with songs like “Daylight” and “Red (Taylor’s Version), adding to the emotional tone of the season.
The series is set at the end of Belly’s high school and college years. She’s looking forward to a carefree summer in the familiar seaside town of Cousins, together with her “soulmate” Jeremiah. But when unexpected events bring Conrad back into her life, everything is thrown into sharp relief. As Belly makes the transition into adulthood, she must finally make a decision: which brother does she really want to share her future with?
In addition to Tung, Casalegno, and Briney, Sean Kaufman, Rain Spencer, Jackie Chung, and Colin Ferguson also return for season three.
Based on the final book in Jenny Han’s beloved trilogy, season three marks the final chapter in Belly’s summer love story. Season three is set to debut on Prime Video on Wednesday, July 16. What began as an innocent summer fling now ends in a life-changing choice that will shape the future of everyone involved. One thing is for sure: this summer will never be the same.
