Alongside Kitsch, Chris Pratt returns in his role as James Reece. Other leading roles are played by Tom Hooper, Luke Hemsworth, Robert Wisdom, and Dar Salim. Rona-Lee Shim'on, Shiraz Tzarfati, and Jared Shaw are also part of the cast.

The trailer establishes the atmosphere of constant threat and moral ambiguity, with the character Jed Haverford (played by Robert Wisdom) stating: “Men like us—protectors, defenders, sentinels—you’re either in the fight, or you’re thinking about it.”
The series is co-created by Jack Carr, the author of the original The Terminal List and a former Navy SEAL, along with David DiGilio, who also served as showrunner for the first season. The Terminal List: Dark Wolf is positioned as an espionage thriller that explores the dark side of warfare, particularly through the actions of trained CIA operatives in the field.
The first three episodes premiere on Wednesday, August 27, on Prime Video and will be available in more than 240 countries worldwide. New episodes will then be released weekly, with the season finale airing on September 24.
