Josh Duhamel joins the cast of The Thing About Pam

Josh Duhamel will appear in the drama series The Thing About Pam. The actor will portray a lead character in the new NBC series. Josh Duhamel (Jupiter's Legacy) will portray the lead character in the new NBC series. Previously, it was revealed that Renée Zellweger (What/If) would portray a lead character in the drama series. The series will be produced by Blumhouse Television, NBC News Studios and Zellweger's Big Picture Co. The Thing About Pam has been written by Jessika Borsiczky (House of Lies).

The series is based on a true-crime phenomenon, the story behind the murder of Betsy Faria in 2011. Even though her husband claims that he didn't kill her, he was convicted for murder. His verdict was later destroyed. The crime resulted in a series of events that would reveal a diabolical plan that closely involved Pam Hupp (Zellweger). Duhamel will portray Joel Schwartz, Hupp's lawyer.
