In February 2019, the first season released, and this was a big success. The serial adaptation of the comics was a true rollercoaster, with an insane ending. Even before the first season released, there were already rumours regarding a possible second season, just like there are rumours about a possible third season now. It didn't take long for Netflix to renew the series and now we also have a release date. The 31st of July.
The Umbrella Academy revolves around a group of children who are born on the same day, even though the mothers didn't even know they were pregnant. Seven of these are adopted by a billionaire and he trains them and forms The Umbrella Academy. Seventeen years after that, the group joins up once more because their father passed away. There's not a lot of love for their father but it doesn't take long before it is revealed that there is a lot more happening. Together, they have to save the world from its demise.
