The Underground Railroad revolves around Cora Randall. She has fled a plantation in Georgia, because of a rumour surrounding the Underground Railroad. Cora is chased by Ridgeway, a bounty hunter who insists on bringing her back to the plantation she ran away from.
Thuso Mbedu (Scandal) will portray Cora Randall. Joel Edgerton (The Secret Life Of Us) will portray Ridgeway. Next to that, Chase W. Dillon (First Wives Club) also has a lead role in the new series. Amongst others, Aaron Pierre (Krypton), William Jackson Harper (The Good Place), Sheila Atim (Bounty Hunters (2017)), Amber Gra (Law & Order: Special Victims Unit) and Peter De Jersey (Broadchurch) are also part of the cast.
