Premiere date and new photos for The Walking Dead: Daryl Dixon

AMC Networks has set a premiere date for The Walking Dead: Daryl Dixon and is sharing new photos. In The Walking Dead: Daryl Dixon, Daryl (Reedus) washes up in France and tries to figure out how he got there and why. The series follows his journey through a broken but resilient France in the hopes of finding a way back home. During his journey, however, his ultimate plan is complicated by the connections he makes along the way.



In addition to Reedus, Clémence Poésy (The Essex Serpent), Adam Nagaitis (The Terror), Anne Charrier (Maison close/Whorehouse), Eriq Ebouaney (Liaison), Laika Blanc Francard (Le Monde de demain), Romain Levi (Les Sauvages) and Louis Puech Scigliuzzi star in the series. The series is produced by Scott M. Gimple, showrunner David Zabel, Reedus, Greg Nicotero, Angela Kang, Brian Bockrath and Daniel Percival.

Sunday, September 10 at 9 p.m. has been set for the premiere of The Walking Dead: Daryl Dixon on AMC and AMC+. The series is the fifth spin-off and overall sixth series based on The Walking Dead franchise created by Robert Kirkman, Tony Moore and Charlie Adlard.

The first season consists of six episodes, with David Zabel writing the first episode and co-writing the second episode with Jason Richman. Coline Abert is responsible for writing the third installment while Shannon Goss is writing the fourth. Richman and Zabel team up again for the fifth episode, and Richman and Laura Snow co-write the season finale.
