“What happens in Thailand stays in Thailand,” says a guest staying at the “best hotel in the world,” where guests are assured after a week that they will be “a completely different person,” the trailer below promises.

The season is once again from writer-director Mike White, who shared that the third season will be a “satirical and funny look at death and Eastern religion and spirituality.”
The first season focused on money, and the second season on sex. Here’s the synopsis: “Set in an exclusive Thai resort, the social satire follows the exploits of various guests and employees over the course of a week.”
The expansive cast includes Leslie Bibb, Carrie Coon, Walton Goggins, Sarah Catherine Hook, Jason Isaacs, Lalisa Manobal, Michelle Monaghan, Sam Nivola, Lek Patravadi, Parker Posey, Natasha Rothwell, Patrick Schwarzenegger, Tayme Thapthimthong and Aimee Lou Wood.
Rothwell is the only known returning actor from a previous season. She played Belinda, the spa manager, in the first season of The White Lotus.
Other cast members include Nicholas Duvernay, Arnas Fedaravicius, Christian Friedel, Scott Glenn, Dom Hetrakul, Yuri Kolokolnikov, Julian Kostov, Charlotte Le Bon, Morgana O'Reilly and Shalini Peiris.
The new season premieres Sunday, February 16 at 9 p.m. on HBO and can be streamed the following day on Max.
