©The Hollywood Reporter - NetflixAccording to the official description, Geralt, Yennefer (Anya Chalotra), and Ciri are separated by war and numerous enemies after the devastating events of season three. Their individual journeys bring them unexpected allies and new dangers. Only if they can accept their newfound "families" do they stand a chance of being reunited.
The cast of season four has expanded and includes Joey Batey (Jaskier), Laurence Fishburne (Regis), Eamon Farren (Cahir), Anna Shaffer (Triss Merigold), Mimî M. Khayisa (Fringilla), Cassie Clare (Philippa), Graham McTavish (Dijkstra), and Sharlto Copley (Leo Bonhart).
The fourth season consists, like the previous seasons, of eight episodes and is directed by Sergio Mimica-Gezzan, Tricia Brock, Alex Garcia Lopez, and Jeremy Webb.
Showrunner Lauren Schmidt Hissrich confirmed that The Witcher will conclude with season five, which, together with season four, forms a narrative two-parter in which Geralt, Yennefer, and Ciri try to reunite their family.
