Production The Witcher will continue soon

Netflix has announced that production on the second season of The Witcher will continue starting from the 17th of August.

The continuation is mostly symbolic as The Witcher was one of the first major TV-series that halted production when Corona was at work in the UK. On the day that production was halted, Kristofer Hivju (Game of Thrones) tested positive for the virus, which resulted in a decision to decontaminate the set to ensure that nobody would be infected in the future.

Slowly but steadily, the film industry in the UK is resuming work. Earlier, it was revealed that the producers of Jurassic World: Dominion would continue this June. The Witcher is in production at Arborfield studios, approximately 60 kilometres away from London. Henry Cavill portrays the main character in this fantasy drama which is based on a series of books and computer games. Down below, you can see the Twitter announcement.
