The Client List cancelled

There will be no third season of Jennifer Love Hewitt‘s Lifetime series The Client List. The drama centered on a woman working as a prostitute is based on a 2010 Lifetime film of the same name.

The move to cancel the series comes after The Client List suffered some ratings declines in its second season and after Lifetime and Sony Pictures Television experienced creative differences with Hewitt over the show’s potential third season. Apparently, Lifetime and Hewitt couldn’t agree on the terms of her real-life pregnancy as it fit in with the show. She wanted Riley to get pregnant with Kyle’s baby.
