A&E's 'The Glades' cancelled, 'Longmire' renewed

There will be no fifth season for A&E‘s veteran drama The Glades despite the series hitting season highs in its most recent season finale. The series on Monday night wrapped up its fourth season with an audience of 3.4 million total viewers. Unfortunately, this cancellation means that fans will get no closure to the season’s big cliffhanger.

The cancellation of The Glades comes as A&E is in the midst of finalising a renewal for their top rated scripted series Longmire with series producer Warner Horizon Television. Longmire, took a big step toward seeming a Season 3 pick-up when exec producer John Coveny claimed as much on Twitter.
