Hallmark Channel has renewed ‘The Good Witch’ for a second season. The second season gets twelve episodes and will premiere in the autumn of 2015. The premiere will be two hours long and the rest of the ten episodes will be broadcast at the beginning of 2016. Catherine Bell, James Denton and Bailee Madison will also play in the second season.
‘The Good Witch’ is based on the film with the same name by Hallmark Channel also with Bell in the lead role. Although her magic has always enchanted us, Cassie Nightingale (Bell) can never predict what excitement she will brew in her life with her enchanting daughter, Grace (Madison) and handsome neighbour, Dr. Sam Radford (Denton). Cassie takes the fun and romance of life by the day or by the spell.
“Our viewers have fallen in love with Catherine Bell and her enchanting journey, as well as her talented co-stars, James Denton and Bailee Madison. After seeing the tremendously overwhelming response to the series, there was no question that ‘The Good Witch’ would be renewed for a second season,” said Michelle Vicary, Executive Vice President, Programming and Publicity, Crown Media Family Networks.
