It is strange that they were doing very badly at The Vampire Diaries in the last few seasons and at The Originals they just put down a strong story for 4 seasons in a row. Although the cast will of course also have to deal with this. The Originals is a lot more mature than The Vampire Diaries.

Thanks for the explanation, Jessica! I thought it was a bit strange because it doesn't really make sense (in consistency and logic) if the actors (eg playing family members) have different accents. And in this series (you already mentioned, for example, Canada, Australia and English) those three completely different accents do stand out. Anyway, Marcel, Rebekah, Klaus and Elijah are all played strongly. This episode makes me curious about the whole season.
