The Walking Dead will feature a new character in the eleventh season. Michael James Shaw will portray this new character.
In the eleventh season of The Walking Dead, new characters will be seen. One of them is Mercer. He will be portrayed by Michael James Shaw (Blood & Treasure). There were some rumours, but now, it has been officially confirmed by AMC.
The Mercer character appeared in comic number 177 for the first time. He is known for his experience with the United States Marine Corps, which eventually resulted in him being the leader of the army of the Commonwealth. In the comics, he developed a relationship with Juanita. That character was already introduced in the tenth season and she is portrayed by Paola Lázaro (Lethal Weapon).
