On the 22nd of August, the eleventh season of The Walking Dead will premiere on AMC. As far as is known, special episodes will release on AMC+ before that. Four extra episodes have been announced, each of which will revolve around one of the lead characters. The episodes will go over the cause of the zombie apocalypse.
Daryl Dixon (Norman Reedus, Robot Chicken), Maggie Rhee (Lauren Cohan, Whiskey Cavalier), Negan (Jeffrey Dean Morgan, Supernatural) and Carol Peletier (Melissa McBride, Dawson's Creek) will be the focus of these episodes. The episodes will also be released in this order. The first will air on the 15th of July, after that, episodes will release on the 22nd of July, the 29th of July and the 5th of August. Each episode will also have an exclusive season eleven sneak peek.
