The Price of Peace
Stalin, Churchill and Roosevelt meet to organize the post-war period in Europe and its sharing after the conflict. The Normandy landings, carried out on June 6, 1944, mark the beginning of the end for Nazi Germany, forced to retreat everywhere. In the Pacific, the Americans bent Japan by bombing Hiroshima and Nagasaki with a new devastating weapon: the atomic bomb.
