Tuca & Bertie will have a second season

Adult Swim has ordered a second season for the previously cancelled Tuca & Bertie. Last year, Netflix cancelled the series after its first season.

The animated series, which features voices from Ali Wong (American Housewife), Steven Yeun (The Walking Dead) and Tiffany Haddish (Self Made: Inspired By The Life Of Madam C.J. Walker), was cancelled despite receiving positive reaction. The series, which has been made by the same people who made Bojack Horseman, will now have a second chance on Adult Swim. Next to Wong, Yeun and Haddish, the show also features voices from Nicole Byer, Richard E. Grant, John Early, Reggie Watts, Tig Notaro, Amber Ruffin, Jermaine Fowler and Tessa Thompson.

If Netflix, which still has global distribution right for the first season, will buy the second season isn't entirely sure. Adult Swim is part of WarnerMedia, which is working on their own streaming service, HBO Max. When the second season of Tuca & Bertie is set to release isn't sure as of yet.
