Season two reunites with John Doe, played by Anthony Mackie (Marvel's The Falcon and the Winter Soldier), and Quiet, played by Stephanie Beatriz (Brooklyn Nine-Nine). Following their adventures in the first season, they are now forced to participate in the Twisted Metal Tournament—a blood-curdling, violent competition organized by the mysterious Calypso, played by Anthony Carrigan (Barry).
During the tournament, John and Quiet face terrifying enemies, including their old nemesis, the deranged clown Sweet Tooth, played again by Joe Seanoa with the voice of Will Arnett (Arrested Development). The confrontations become even more personal when John unexpectedly reconnects with his long-lost sister, Dollface (played by Tiana Okoye, The Good Place).
Creative direction is once again in the hands of Michael Jonathan Smith (Cobra Kai), who returns as showrunner and executive producer.
