Back in 2015, Unforgotten premiered. The most recent season aired in 2018. Shortly after that, the series was renewed for its fourth season. On the 22nd of February, the new season will start its run at ITV. It has taken so long in part due to the coronavirus. Six episodes will air in total.
The series revolves around DCI Stuart and DI Khan, who investigate cold cases. These cases are suddenly reopened after bodies were found of victims who disappeared more than 30 years ago. The lead characters are portrayed by Nicola Walker (The Split) and Sanjeev Bhaskar (The Indian Doctor). In the fourth season, Susan Lynch (Killing Eve) joins the cast.
