
In the first season, Turner was confronted with the brutal death of a man, which set him on a collision course with the dark secrets of the park and his own past. Besides Bana, Sam Neill and Rosemarie DeWitt also played key roles.
At the end of the first season, Turner left Yosemite National Park and embarked on a journey, shedding the emotional baggage he had stored away for years in the wilderness. In the second season, Bana returns to investigate a new case, where Kyle Turner once again finds himself deeply entangled in mysterious events.
Although UNTAMED was initially intended as a six-episode limited series, the first season quickly became a huge success. The series achieved high ratings and immediately topped Netflix's English-language television list after its premiere on July 17th.
Mark L. Smith explained in an interview with Tudum that the strong cast and story made them decide to continue the series: "It was just such a great ensemble… then we thought, 'How do we keep this going?'"
Eric Bana is excited about the continuation: "The response to the first season is a testament to our crew's incredible dedication to creating something truly unique. I can't wait to take Kyle on his next adventure."
