Mandy (1966) has been writing reviews, news articles, and columns for MijnSerie since 2013 — and no, stopping isn’t on the agenda anytime soon. What started as a fun side project has grown into a full-blown passion, consuming countless hours, strong opinions, and an impressive number of TV shows.
Between 2016 and 2018, she could be heard weekly with a radio column on Roulette FM in Ochtend Oostrom, alongside Peter Oostrom. The collaboration proved too good to end there, and in January 2019 they reunited behind the microphone for the monthly MijnSerie Podcast. Because let’s be honest — you can never talk too much about TV series.
Since September 2018, Mandy has been a content manager, and as of March 1, 2020, she proudly holds the title of editor-in-chief of MijnSerie. Her taste in TV shows? So broad that labels no longer apply. Horror and thrillers have a slight edge, as does anything even remotely connected to Sherlock Holmes, but in truth, every genre gets a fair shot.
Series recommendations are always welcome — her watchlist keeps growing, right alongside her firm belief that there are simply too many great shows and far too little time.
