After a varied career in insurance/legal affairs, technology, and IT, Conan became a freelance translator. Unfortunately, after about eight years, AI had too much influence on his assignments. For a few years now, he's been working as an employee again, this time as a writer/translator and technical trainer. His Bachelor's degree in English Translation is certainly worthwhile: language remains a significant part of his work. To relax, he enjoys reading and watching TV series and films, but he's also physically active, primarily as a (competitive) fencer. He also enjoys riding his motorcycle and cooking delicious meals. His motto remains: "Mens sana in corpore sano," or: a healthy mind in a healthy body. As long as you combine that with "carpe diem," life is good.
